Barre teen arrested for car theft in Montpelier
The Vermont State Police arrested a Barre teen Thursday for allegedly stealing a vehicle in Montpelier last month and ditching it in Warren.
The 73rd annual Reformer Christmas Stocking is inching its way up to this year's goal of $90,000. The employee-led Rockingham Community Action Team at The Vermont Country Store sent in a donation of $750 as part of their values statement to give back to the community in which they live.
An early morning fire Thursday destroyed a garage on Main Street in Waitsfield. Firefighters from the Waitsfield-Fayston department, along with assistance from Moretown and Warren crews, knocked down the 2 a.m. blaze before it could damage a nearby propane tank, authorities said in a news release.
