i hope they put these to good use, firefighters need all the help they can get, especially around here when all they are is volunteer. They don't even get paid, they need new equipment.

I hope NM does not get a penny, It would just go into someones corrupt pockets!!!!!!!!

What corrupt pockets? Do you really think that someone is corrupt in the fire dept.? I hope you don't mean that. We need a grant for them. Some new equipment, training, etc. They are a good bunch of people who volunteer their time to save your house. You would be thankful if your house were on fire and they had to rescue you. wouldn't you want the best equipment for them to do that? Shame on you for talking that way.

Sorry for you ggf......you must be miserable to have nothing but complaints about everything and everyone. These grants would be a Godsend for any town that recieves them! If you are so worried that this town is corrupt, go to the city council and demand to see the books! |

Well we all know where much of the grant money went when FH was Administrator. That ain't no secret. And some of the same people that were under FH are still there. Go figure.
How stupid was sodding the levee between the boardwalk and riverfront area. We all know what happens to sod when it stand under water for a while. What a waste of money, FH. |

NM should build a public pool where the old one used to be. That would keep many kids busy all summer and out of trouble.

Are you suggesting what ggf is? That someone in the FD is corrupt? the department is the reason most of the city's fire insurance premiums dropped. Saving you money. I agree about the sodding but was it a part of the State money? it does look good, though. |
According to the Malden Paper, Clarkton FD has gotten several fire grants, as well as the Police Department!! Good for them~~ |
