Firefighters still mopping up remnants of Walnut Creek grass fire

Firefighters summoned state assistance in fighting a grass fire that broke out late Wednesday night and is still being stamped out because it's in an area that is particularly vulnerable to wildfires, the Contra Costa Fire District said.
