Gas leak in Walnut prompts evacuations of restaurants

Three local businesses were evacuated this morning after a phone company nicked a gas line, officials said.

Why are construction folks so stupid. You are supposed to call a number before you dig.

Idiots.

Too bad they had to close those businesses temporarily. Strip malls generally have the hardest time with business. Across the street, the Verizon store has closed and so has the Chinese Decorator shop. Typical of strip malls. they will soon go belly up and become eyesores and criminal breeding grounds. Where is the liquor store and the Speedy Mart.
