WALES - The fire that destroyed a home at 10 Lynch Road on Wednesday was started by a child who was misusing fire, according to a spokeswoman from the state fire marshal's office.

She said family members, including children, were home at the time the fire broke out.

WALES - There is a three-way race for a position on the Board of Selectmen at the annual election on Tuesday, though one of the names will not be on the ballot.
