Oughta have a leash law for repeat offenders. Those ten convictions are just the times he got caught. These animals use cars to "commute" to their "jobs". Take away their mobility and you limit the trouble thay cause for other people. Get caught driving on a life suspension of driving rights and you go away for a long time, like ten years.

1 Crazy !:) I was going to say the exact same thing. Only in Hawaii. No dognapping in Hawaii unless you want to eat it. |

"On Monday, the officer was driving toward the home on Hakimo Road when he saw a vehicle with Vicente inside it, and a dog on his lap."
Lucky break. We know the "quality" of HPD investigations. |

Good for him, the dog should have bit him. I'm glad they did the speakerphone with the police present.
Gotta watch the puppies now, who knows if some cracka is going for those to see if they can sell em? |

Haaaaaaa, haaaaaa, ha. Ha.

Yeah, and make sure it's 1st Degree Stupidity. They should also do a re-enactment for the "dumb criminals" specials that they sometimes do for TV. What a babooze! |

TEN prior convictions plus restraining order in effect?
Restraining order does nothing to protect victims...it's just a piece of paper! Obviously being convicted of a crime is a joke, too. |

I would suggest that this person be locked up because of his prior convictions. As we all know, the judges are very linient and will probably get him back into the streets in no time. The animals suffered a traumatic experience and something needs to be done. The little dog needs to see a dog shrink to make sure she is ok. I hope the little dog makes it without worrying that someone is going to kidnap her again. The little dog should take out a restraining order to keep him out of her life.

This was a clearly a BAD BUSINESS DECISION. Between the dog-napping business registration fee, the state income tax, the general excise tax not to mention the County neutering fee and the dog license fee...sheesh...should have gone for $150 minimum.

a person who thinks he can get away with this kind of extortion is not only one babooze but ultimately dangerous. deranged! don't these kooks think about the consequences of their actions? these women should carry protection.

A shabby HPD investigation is more worthy than anything you have to say, idiot. |
