Justice. From the time I first met you to thank you for fighting for grandparents, I have prayed for your strength to continue. My thoughts and prayers continue for you and your family Edwina.

Still not enough JUSTICE in my opinion.... but as citizen said maybe our prisoners will help him to receive more justice.

Sad that in this day and age we have to "judge" the "justice" handed down in the senseless murder of an innocent child. Although I don't know if this is enough, it is at least SOME justice for the loss of this innocent little boy's life, and more justice than some children ever receive. My thoughts and prayers are with these grandparents. Thank you for standing up for the innocent children and grandparents. God Bless you and your family. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Here's an angle no one's looked at: The mother stopped allowing the child to visit the grandparents, AFTER the grandma said something about a gash and some bruises. Do we have another Raye Dawn Smith here, allowing a guy to abuse her child because she loves the guy more than her own offspring, contrary to every natural instinct?

Does her role in this need to be examined more closely?

Sounds as if maybe butch is on to something here. Only I don't think there is any love in the making here. not as neglectful as it appears the two adults were with the child. Why wasn't the woman held accountable for her neglect of oversight of the child.

Very True Butch, this does sound very familiar to the R.D. Smith case. There are just some people who should never breed.

The woman of the Child had to tell the Court of that he did to get the first-degree murder on the man. The Woman will not be facing court.

If women would realize that living with some guy outside of marriage is not a good thing, maybe there wouldn't be so much child abuse. If a man doesn't care enough about you to marry you, then he ain't going to care about your kids either.

Wise up ladies and you'll have a much nicer life.
