Camel races excite Virginia City

This was a very disappointing event. The coordinator, Sara was rude, disrespectful and not at all helpful.(Shw must not be from these parts) I paid $160 for 4 VIP Tix and we could not see because of the seating arrangement of the general admission seating. They sat high on the hill which obscured the view for the VIP seats and she thought we were unfair to suggest she ask them to sit in their seats because "they oversold tix". The food was cold. It was held in chafers but the beans , tri tip and chicken were served cold which would never have passed the health dept regulations. There was no control over the seating arrangement of the VIP seats which allowed for guests to sit in the aisles and block exits for others. The sound system was not at all understandable, I should think it could be improved upon when you are asking people to pay $40.00 for a ticket. There were no accomodations for the handicapped. No parking, no shuttles etc. This was very disappointing and a total waste of money. The vendors were quite nice and the volunteers in general were quite friendly very much of the Nevada hospitality that we are accustomed to. Thank you.
