Mistakes on pre-sentence reports shroud potential problems
In a recent case involving a Vincent man sentenced to serve six years in prison for trafficking in heroin, two prior criminal convictions were omitted from the case's Pre-Sentence Investigation report.
Calling the pre-sentence report of a Vincent man "chilling" Washington County Common Pleas Judge Ed Lane sent him to prison for six years Tuesday morning on a second-degree felony possession of drugs charge.
