Caroline Armstrong, of Vilonia, a senior at Vilonia High School, was awarded the University scholarship.

More than $3.8 million dollars were awarded to Vilonia High School seniors, Tuesday night, at an honors ceremony, according to principal Andy Ashley.

A closing speech at the Vilonia FFA Banquet, held Tuesday evening, the organization's president Taylor McNeel, told those in attendance out of all the advice she has received regarding "after high school" she believes one piece is the best.

Vilonia firefighters will trade their turnouts and helmets, Saturday, for crowns, tutus and tiaras during a boot drive with the money going to sponsor special needs children participating in the Arkansas Angels Pageants.
