For the last two weeks, lines of thunderstorms have swept through Bandera County, bringing much-needed rain but leaving damage in their wake.

Graveside services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday at Vanderpool Cemetery in Vanderpool with Paul Stephens officiating.

Photographer and author Rick Vanderpool will teach "Creating Critical Thinking Skills for Photographers, Writers and Teachers" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays through May 3. The cost is $50.
