Fire damages Franklin St. home

No one was reported injured, but extensive damage was done to a S. Franklin St. home Monday afternoon when fire struck the house around 4 p.m. Crews from Van Wert and Middle Point were able to bring the blaze under control, but a front room appeared charred, and windows were broken.
