Marie E. Moore, 84, of Fultonville, N.Y., passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany on May 22, 2012, after a brief illness.

On Nov. 2, we were aroused at 4:15 a.m. to a fire that was well under way in our two adjoining heifer barns.

VAN HORNESVILLE, N.Y. - After initially being left off a list of possible closures, the Van Hornesville Post Office and the Westdale Post Office near Camden are now on a list of 3,700 others that will be studied for possible closure, according to Maureen Marion, Public Affairs Specialist for the New England Region.

The following local residents were named to the Dean's List at Ithaca College for the fall 2009 semester.
