Property taxes increase in rural school districts
Taxpayers in the Mishicot School District will pay about $8.60 per $1,000 of equalized property value in taxes to the school district for 2009-10. The 8.597 mill rate is an increase of 3.96 percent over last year, said Patty Sprang, the district's financial services manager.

Reedsville woman dies in traffic accident
