Despite all of our recent rain, Uvalde County is under Stage Three water restrictions for the first time ever.

Last Wednesday, 58 dogs were seized by Parker County authorities from a residence in the 900 block of Lynch Bend Road.

Last week, we interviewed Hot Rod magazine's David Freiburger, who piloted a Camaro ZL1 tuned by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering to more than 200 mph at the Continental Tires proving grounds in Uvalde, Texas.

The Museum of Western Art at 1550 Bandera Highway in Kerrville will hold the Great Western Trail Art Exhibition and Sale on Saturday, May 5. Bill Stevens, a Bandera artist, will be exhibiting two oil paintings, "Checkin the Beans" and "Awaiting the Grand Entry." "This is a juried show of some of the best western artists," said Stevens.
