Margaret Berniece Robbins
<![CDATA[Margaret Berniece Robbins CENTERVILLE, Ind. - On August 25, 2014 at 4:50 p.m., Margaret (Dixon) Robbins experienced the reality of her faith in Jesus as she entered into Heaven at the age of 97. Her desire to remain in her home until her death was fulfilled. She was born in Falmouth, Kentucky, to Emmett and Anna Dixon. She married Lloyd Robbins on April 6, 1940. For 55 years, she enjoyed her Centerville neighbors who were accustomed to seeing her work in her garden. She was an accomplished seamstress who trained under an Italian tailor and worked in the alterations department of Montgomery Wards until her retirement. She had been a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Connersville, Richmond, and Centerville, Indiana. Although the aforementioned activities were things she enjoyed, she considered her real legacy to be the members of her family. Survivors include one son, Paul (Patricia) Robbins of Centerville, Indiana, and one daughter, Janet (Brian) Warner of Upland, Indiana. She loved her four grandsons and their wives dearly, Michael (Amy) Robbins of Seattle, Washington, Stephen (Cora) Robbins of Seattle, Washington, Aaron (Maegen) Warner of Greenwood, Indiana, and Jared (Michelle) Warner of Mason, Ohio. She also delighted in her six great-grandchildren, Lucas Robbins, Haven Robbins, David Robbins, Abigail Warner, Lauren Warner, and Olivia Warner. In addition to her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Denver H. Dixon and Ralph E. Dixon. Visitation for Margaret Berniece Robbins will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2014, at Centerville Nazarene Church with Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul A. Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Memorial contributions may be made to: Gideon's International for the Memorial Bible Fund, P.O. Box 1092, Richmond, IN 47375 or Centerville Church of the Nazarene, 7181 U.S. 40 West, Centerville, IN 47330. Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www.doanmillsfuneralhome.com.
