Mr. Dwight L. Myers, 82, of US Hwy 64 W, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. He was born April 15, 1930, to the late Gaston Jarvis and Beatriz Johnson Myers and grew up in a small community called Windsor Cross Roads in Yadkin County - five miles north of Union Grove.

A big Easter gospel program will be held at the Union Grove Church of Christ, Lisbon Street, Clinton, Sunday, March 31, beginning at 5 pm.

The Community Male Chorus of Clinton will celebrate their 66th anniversary Saturday, March 2, at the Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church, beginning at 6 p.m. The church is located on Odom Road.

David and Sandy Trivette of Union Grove announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Lauren Trivette to Brandon Scott Lyon, the son of Perry and Donna Lyon of Ronda.
