Mezayek files for final term on council
Native Tylerite Sam Mezayek filed the paperwork Wednesday to run for his third and final term as city councilman for District 1. Mezayek, 46, has represented that district for two terms on the council, but cannot run again after serving a third term because of term limits, he said.
