SAD 52 revises budget

The new budget represents a 0.3673 percent reduction from the previous budget, which was defeated in a referendum on May 8. Superintendent Henry Alberti and the board encourage all residents to attend the district budget meeting vote at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, in the auditorium of Leavitt Area High School.

SAD 52 school budget defeated

Turner had 93 yes votes and 33 no votes, favoring the proposed budget by a margin of nearly 3 to 1. Leeds had 40 yes votes and 68 no votes, defeating the measure by about 13 percent.
