Tis the season for political campaign signs to sprout

Full story: Connecticut Post

Just like the swallows of Capistrano and dandelions shooting out of the ground mark spring, autumn has its harbingers, too as political campaign signs are sprouting -- on front lawns and close to the roadway, meaning that rather than being on private property, they are just beyond it, lurking in the public right-of-way. I already know who is not getting my vote. Four women from one party and one man from the other.

THANK YOU. Not voting for those 4 women is best for Monroe.

They are self-serving PTO Presidents who will only drive the BOE budget higher and higher. No fiscal responsibility. And, where we they prior to the last budget? Didi anyone aver see them at meetings?
I would really like to know that.

I agree. Every year we increase the budget, where has it gotten us and to who benefit? This logic is not working, its that simple.

The gentleman is the tax collector, he said it made more sense to keep the reval rather than correct it. He did not care that it was wrong. Now he wants our votes? He is not getting mine.

They are great ladies and I like them a lot. They want what is best for the children in this town. I do not agree with tax increases though. I am torn. As a parent and a tax payer it is a hard choice. I think I am voting Republican.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
