A 16-year-old Troy, Mo., teen was seriously injured Wednesday in a motorcycle crash with a car.

Rocklage, 25, was arrested for the distribution of a controlled substance (cocaine) on March 14, and was being held on a $75,000 bond. While in custody on two days later, Rocklage was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Charles after complaining of chest pains and escaped from his hospital room and assaulted a law enforcement officer in the process.

The Elsberry Democrat, Ashley Holton, Reporter A skeleton of a woman found last October, in Pike County has been identified as a former Elsberry woman who went missing 17 years ago and her husband has been charged with her murder. Two local residents found the remains inside an old cistern last fall, while working at the property previously owned by Doug and Betty Ann Howery off of Pike 202, four miles north of Elsberry.
