SIDNEY CENTER -- An unexpectedly heavy rain storm Friday closed roads in Delaware County, led to some evacuations, and caused county Sheriff Thomas Mills to declare a travel advisory until 8 a.m. Saturday.

In a continued effort to battle downtown flooding and improve local fish habitats and wetlands surrounding Trout Creek, town officials unveiled a recent study that paves the way for restoration work as early as June 2011.
