Investigators say Pa. State Trooper Barry Searfoss, of Coatesville, was driving his pickup truck in the westbound lanes of the PA turnpike in Upper Dublin Township last Friday around 10:30 p.m. Searfoss, who was off-duty at the time, suddenly rear-ended a 1997 Lincoln Town car 4-door Sedan, according to police.

At 12:21 p.m. today, Lower Providence Township's fire and rescue squads were called out to Rogers Road at Trooper Road for a woods/field fire.

Trooper said Marianne McMichael's boyfriend found her body Tuesday morning at their home on Scotland Road in East Drumore Township.
