Would the MLPA look into restricting crab seasons/areas as well?

Seems as if we are entering an El Nino year I have read. Doesnt past history exist to prove that the last El Nino was a good crab year? Someone please confirm this? I am thinking it was

Too much meth waste dumped by mexican tweakercooks in the Pacific Coast. The crabs are all bones.

Suspending the season entirely would be devastating to some local fishermen and processors. Delaying the opening date and/or limiting the catch may be the best option. Nature has finally caught up with a long history of over fishing the waters.

Every cloud has a silver lining. The crabs would certain benefit and appreciate the season being suspended.
