Lets see, the guy is 50 years old, driving a 27 year old car and is drunk at 4 in the afternoon?

I'd say he's an alcoholic bum, hasn't worked since he was 23 years old and got the car, has been living "marginally" ever since, is now on SSI. How would you feel if he has crashed into someone else and hurt them bad. There's good chance he doesn't have insurance. Betcha now the State will have to pay his medical expenses and

Screw his story. DUI idiot should be put into solitaire and forgotten about.
If he can't pay for his own medical then let him die. One less DUI on the road.

I was almost hit head-on by that idiot. He came flying out of the 20 mph rough doing 50. The area's just S of all the Inns. He should be charged w/ reckless driving as well as the DUI.

I wonder how much sympathy he would be getting if he had hit anbother car and killed or seriously injured other people? Who's hand would be being held then? Thanks that he hit a tree this time...this story could be so much worse.

Drink at home people, get plowed and crawl to bed and leave the rest of us out of your "family disease".

What a cold misanthrope. Hope nothing happens to you, bet there wouldn't be too many around to help, but of course you have your miraculous money....

not one person one this board can condemn another we are all guilty of something. i am theone who called 911 and i have been injured in a dui of my own doing before. i am not proud of that but we all make mistakes and hopefully bob will learn from this as i did and as the countless numbers of dui drivers in america should all learn.
it is sad to see such hatred and my heart is so proud right now that in this world it takes my 11 year old beautiful baby girl to show and give compassion and prayer to one who needs it.
granted if the car in front of me was going faster he might have hit them and if they were not there it could have been me that got hit, but the situation is as it is and no one else got injured so prayer for one to help turn their life around is awesome.
Rusty , yes it is nice when 11 years olds comment cuz they will soon be leading this world and to know we have compassion and love in our future is fantastic. iunderstand it is hard to have a positive outlook living in oakland, east bay baby murder capital of the world, and i know many youths in oakland dont graduate elementary school , are you one of them? is that why you feel the need to put down a person for showing love. and just to put facts straight the 11 yr old in question is damn well near a straight a student, more talent than you have ever seen and a bright and wonderful future ahead. i pray for you rusty cuz i know how hard and treacherous life is in oakland.
celebrate youth love and forgiveness
may we all learn to love as well as an 11 year old!

Big foot -in mouth. He's drunk on the road, how would you feel if he ran into one of yours?
You going to say, "Oh poor guy has personal problems. Let him off with a fine and tell him not to worry about the funeral expenses."
DUI's are a-s-oles and can all die for all I care about them.
You can let your heart bleed for them as you stand over a family casket.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Scorpio

If you've been surrounded by people during the past few days you welcome the chance to have some time to yourself today. It's a wonderful excuse to do something really indulgent in private, such as scoff a whole box of chocolates while watching a favourite film on TV. But make sure you destroy all the evidence before everyone else comes home!
