Four local auditing firms presented their proposals on Monday night in hopes of being chosen to do the annual audit for University City.

Ordinances that settle long-term debts owed between Crestwood's funds were approved last week by the Board of Aldermen.

The only professional criticism of Manchester's accounting for last year was the lack of quarterly reports of the city's financial condition, attributable to a vacancy in the office of chief financial officer for seven months, a CPA firm told the Board of Aldermen Monday night.
