I agree he will be missed, with you questioning the reason he gave for leaving, you are now questioning his integrity. If you disagree with the board that's OK but don't bring Eric down to your level by insinuating he is not telling the truth.

Now that Eric is coming back, what are you going to blame the board for doing?

With the teachers contracts up for negotiation - what is the board prepared to do to save us from tax hikes and to keep the teachers from striking? If the state cuts school funding - this new board doesn't have the proper funding to accomodate the little tax increases planned for the construction of the new school - I think ROC needs to check into that - because as a tax payer I am concerned as to what our taxes will be with the state planning on cutting state schools budgets - and now with the teachers ready to strike an increase in taxes will be expected there to.
So what

What do you want ROC to do? Their members have their hands full with all the problems they created in Blairsville.

We all hope the new school gets built and the LOCAL controlled BOARD has their way and raise the taxes from 119.85 mills to 150 mills. All the locals will soon realize this was a BIG mistake. Sell you place and move to Derry Township we will keep the light on for you and let you pay 74.00 mills. Oh the Education is a lot better for the students.

Don't just sit back and accept that with the teachers contract coming to an end there will be a tax increase. Saucon Valley may soon find out they have no contract and are not employed by the school district when their contract ended . Let it be known that the teachers and their powerful union can be as broke as the taxpayers are for feeding their greed. Tell your school board to start hiring new teachers for a reasonable salary.
Not a cradle to grave contract that lets them retire at 55 or more years on your dime for only working 180 days a year, 13 holidays, inservice days, renting cars to go to out of town meetings ,for what?

Fight back, you're being held hostage not only by your teachers, the Federal Govt. and a lot of legislators playing around with your tax money. We're slowly heading for a revolution under this government and if the country isn't worth dying for it isn't worth living in like some subordinate peon.
