The Jeune Attente Dance Company of Dysart, Iowa donates to fine arts programs each year in the communities of Dysart, La Porte City and Traer.

A volunteer dance board of directors reviews requests each fall and distributes as to the needs of each program.

On Sunday, October 25, members of the Tama County Sheriff's Office, the Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms arrested Jason Troy Harriman, 35, at his residence in rural Traer.

Beverly Mae Joens Claussen, died August 22 at her home in Grimes after an extended illness.
