Volunteers harvest grapes at Holy-Field vinyard in Basehor

After the Vignole grapes were picked, they were collected in bins for crushing. For six to eight weeks in late summer every year, about 150 volunteers turn out at Holy-Field Vineyard and Winery in Basehor, Kan ., for Picking Sundays.
