Before Judge Marsha M. Beckelman: Matthew Scott Hazelwood, 26, Eldora, was sentenced to concurrent five-year prison terms and fined a total of $1,500. Hazelwood entered guilty pleas to charges of 2nd degree theft and possession of a controlled substance- 3rd offense.

MIKE GILCHRIST IN THE TOLEDO CHRONICLE I caught some flack from a couple readers regarding the way I ended my column last week: "If God's intent is to steel one by life's experience, then I am a pillar of iron." Relax, would ya! I was not positing myself as any pillar of the community or anything of the sort.

On Wednesday, Jan. 6, 11 very hardy and dedicated Toledo High School grads met at the State Bank of Toledo Meeting Room to further the planning for the All-Class Reunion to be held the weekend of July 2, 3 and 4. The reunion will be at the Toledo Reinig Community Center.
