The Westport City Council voted Tuesday night not to support a proposed bridge across Grays Harbor between Ocean Shores and Westport.

The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency plans public forums Jan. 17 and 18 at Seaview, Ocean Park and Tokeland to help prepare residents for debris from the Japanese tsunami that might wash ashore on coastal beaches.

Power has been restored in the Tokeland area. About 150 customers were impacted by an outage this morning at about 3:15am. The Grays Harbor PUD is now responding to an outage in the northern part of the county impacting about 1,000 customers.
