Linn County will hold a public hearing Wednesday on whether to bond for $1.2 million to help expand an outdoor learning center near Toddville, and bond for $2 million to pay for two other projects.

High heat has buckled the pavement on two local highways today. Interstate 380 northbound, just south of the Toddville exit, and Highway 30 at 16th Avenue SW have buckled pavement, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
