Laura Behrends to attend a HOBY Leadership Seminar
Princeton High School sophomore Laura Behrends was chosen as the Hugh O'Brian Youth Ambassador for 2012.
He was born Sept. 11, 1921, in Lawn Ridge to Jay and Pearl Pritchard. He attended Lawn Ridge Grade School and graduated from Princeville High School.

Just in time for the blustery winds of February, the Tiskilwa Historical Society is opening a new exhibit, “Hang onto Your Hats!” today, Saturday, in the Timeline Gallery at its Museum on Main.
Born April 26, 1928, in Freeport to Henry and Hazel Dunn, he married Agnes E. Carrington in July 1967 in Goreville.

Red Cross fundraiser is Saturday
On Monday, Lori Compton, director of the local Red Cross chapter, said plans are completed for Saturday's annual winter dance fundraiser, to be held this year at the Underground Inn in Princeton.
She graduated from Tiskilwa High School in 1973. She worked as a pharmacy technician for many years at Fawcetts Pharmacy in Princeton.
