U.S. 79: Reduced to one southbound lane between County Road 421 and FM 619 until further notice.

U.S. 79: Various northbound and southbound lane closures between Interstate 35 and FM 1460 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday nights until further notice.

FM 969: Various eastbound and westbound lane closures between Blake-Manor Road and Bastrop County line from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

Antonio Vargas of Cameron died Saturday morning following a motorcycle crash the previous night, according to the Milam County Sheriff's Office.

Antonio Vargas, Sr., 53, of Cameron, who was named in an arrest warrant charging possession of cocaine in a drug free zone and possession of an drug paraphernalia after a raid on an apartment, has died in a motorcycle accident, the Milam County Sheriffa s Office confirmed Sunday.
