According to Trooper M.A. Leonard with the State Highway Patrol, Bobby Lambert, 73, of 6919 E. Holly Grove Road, died as a result of injuries he sustained when a motorist swerved to avoid a dog and struck him on his riding lawnmower at approximately 3:30 p.m. Lambert died at the scene.
