Teen hit by car while running from CPS remains in critical condition

does not surprise me. cps thinks they are doing good, when all, they just make things worse. long story to get into on my family dealings with cps, but all they do is tear up family's. they screwed mine up dreadfully so. cps sucks over 50% of the time with making matters worse when they really are not. with also botching their reports just to make them self look good when really they know they have screwed up into jumping the gun. oh i have more about this damn gov. org.. they have not heard the last of my voice yet. thank u for reading and get well whom ever the girl is who got hit. she probally was scared out her mind not knowing whats happening. they probally just took her without any notification at all. I am familiar with that also. they take just as if it could be classified asd kidnapping. but u can not press charges because u deal with this out of control gov.org .

My prayers go out to these children. I met Savannah when she came around my home with other kids and I believe she was a very troubled teen. My son knew her and so does my grand daughter. All this crap goes back to family and I dont believe this girl and her brother had any kind of family life. Now all there is to do is pray for them. Heart breaking and So sad....

To annonymous, your assumtions are wrong in this case. I believe she needed to be in a better environment and away from the life she was living so in this case the right thing was probably being done. It's a tragedy what happened to her. The only thing I question is why would the driver pull over on a freeway and let her out unless she was fighting the driver.

let me tell u a little on assumpting. o.k. I know a family whom was accused of diff. things by their child. this child was being raised by a great family. this child was just in with the wrong group at school. anyway, cps swooped kid up from school and informed nobody, i tell you not a soul. cps worker let this child use same cps workers cell phone to call friends. this was happening in front of parents when they were finally called in on situation to come down to that office holding facility in galv. parents could not do nothing about it.also the child was acting as if cps worker was now the parent asking worker if the child could stay at a friends house just what childs plan was all along and the outcome of story is dreadful. child is in a mental hospital because it has been proven she has bipolar disorders and is schizo. rest of family distrought and emotionally tore up. ALL BECAUSE OF BULLSHIT AND FALSE REPORTING. MOSTLY ON CPS PART. BECAUSE WORKER NEW SHE SERIOUSLY ------ UP AND DELIBERATELY WROTE NONSENSE TO SAVE AND COVER HER ASS. For that family, it was to late, they had to ride the storm and it was a long legal ride for them. They are yet to be thru with cps. Legal action is coming, and supposedly they have enough to show proof of falsifying reports from cps. thank you.

I was at the hospital last night with her family and they are very distraught as to be expected. We were told by her mom and grandma that the only bone in her body that was not broken was her left arm. She is living hour by hour at the moment. Savannah did have her own problems but she was a good kid and just needed the proper guidance. Her mother said that even if she does pull through that her quailty of life will never be the same

do u kno if ppl are aloud to go and see her yet cause im one of her best friends and i would like to go see her soon

No Janet Jo she cant have visitors. Uncle Red and I went there but her mom is only aloud to go in to see her for 5 minutes every couple of hours. Most of her family was there and thought we were crazy for coming. Gave them my number and they have jeromes and reds to. Her mom promised to update us of any changes.

Jake and annonymous, this isnt about everyone else's problems with CPS. This is about Savannah. These comments should be about prayers for this child and her family. My heart breaks for her.

We found out this morning that they are deciding not to pull the plug on Savannah. We are very hopeful that she WILl pull through and straighten her life out. They are also doing reconstructive surgery and giving her body time to heal. Keep her on your minds, and your prayers.

Bacliffhood115 needs not to be a two facer and stop commenting amongst yourself. first u degrade savannah's family on how she wasn't raised properly and now u want to make sure u send prayers out to them. why? oh i know because her family is on the site now. anyway we all hope savanna pulls through. take care savannah and all her family.

I hope Savannah gets well and gets the help she needs! I hate to hear that this has happened to a family member so close to the date when we just lost 2 other family members recently as well. Good luck Savannah and hope you get better soon! Just remember God has a plan for everyone and has a purpose for doing what he does!

There is no intent to degrade the family. I know how hard it is to raise teenagers but the love is still there no matter all the problems that go on inside a family and I am not immune to this. My eldest son was killed when he was 15. I miss him every minute of every day and will the rest of my life and every day I wonder if I could have done something different or been a better parent, maybe I could have. I know the pain and suffering of loosing a child. BUT, like I said, this is about Savannah and I believe in the power of prayer. God be with her and her family. I have had a mass said for her at Queen of Angels and a prayer circle has been formed. God is good and he does have a plan.

Hannah, Stephanie, or Janet any news on Savannah?

I have known savanna only a year she is a great child a little like we all were when we were kids ourselves.we all had some kind of problem but what kids dont in the world of today.when she was at my home she was well behaved and helpful.too all the people who want to post trash on this girl back off she has been through enough at this time in her life. she will never be the same person again.let her try to get on and quit makeing speculations on what made i all happen.if anything put the poor girl in your prayers for a recovery .she was part of the family to me and i want to put this all behind her.she is in my prayers get back to us savanna.

What did they expect. Her Dad was in prison last time I head. She was pregnant. Her brother was in jail. Don't know about the younger sister. The step father was with her Dads sister. Very disfunctional family. She never had a chance!!
