In a small town 36 miles northwest of Austin is a no kill animal shelter. This facility is located at 600 East 4th Street in Taylor Texas.

On Wednesday, a Williamson County jury found Bobby Burks Jr., 34, of Taylor guilty of robbing and killing a man whose cousin was giving two women a ride home from a Southeast Austin nightclub in April 2010.

The county paid $1,500 for a one-year membership in the organization.
