"Y&R" fans lost their beloved, tenacious Katherine Chancellor, portrayed by the irreplaceable Jeanne Cooper for 40 years, earlier this week.

Ms. Wilma Jeanne Cooper was born on October 25, 1928 in Taft, California. Needless to say a "Star" was born that day! The youngest of three children, her parents were Albert Troy Cooper and Sildeth Evelyn Moore.
