A one-vehicle crash killed a Sycamore woman on Wednesday. Connie J. Aurand, 65, a front-seat passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene after her vehicle struck a large tree off Crawford County 330 at 1:28 p.m., according to the Bucyrus post of the State Highway Patrol.

One of the vehicles that started the love affair with the American car, the Franklin, will be showcased in Bucyrus that day as the cars' owners tour the city.

Firefighters rescued an 87-year-old Upper Sandusky man from a burning building Friday morning at 7375 County 182, the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office reported.

A Galion man was sentenced to four years in prison Monday in Crawford County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty to burglary, a second-degree felony.
