A crash involving a tractor-trailer and the resulting fire caused emergency crews to shut down the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 west of the Conyngham exit this afternoon.

A fire destroyed a barn and an adjoining structure along West County Road in Sugarloaf Township this afternoon.
Small fire at friary to be investigated
A state police fire marshal will meet with Sugarloaf Township firefighters today and work to pinpoint the cause of a small fire that broke out in the sanctuary portion of a monastery along Route 93 in the township on Monday afternoon.
A Sugarloaf Township establishment that was allegedly found to have insufficient funds when it wrote checks for buying malt or brewed beverages was cited for a liquor law violation, the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement reported.
