I don't believe she flushed them. When will we start removing kids from homes where drugs are a problem? This is a terrible thing to happen.

If you removed all kids from homes where drugs are a problem, the system would be overwhelmed. When I worked for DYFS (Division of Youth and Family Services) in Paterson, NJ the great majority of cases involved some type of drug abuse/addiction. There was no way we could care for all of those kids in foster care. It was reality.
