As a liberal, Christie's social policies are quite troubling to me. However, fiscally I think he gets the issues. Corzine has been a disaster on fiscal issues. He was expected to be brilliant in this area due to his backround, but never lived up to it. He can't blame it all on the national and global ecomonic crisis. NJ has never been a business friendly state and continues to chase away companies from locating here (both existing and potential new ones. In the next 2 to 4 years it has to be about cutting government spending, reducing taxes and job growth or NJ will never improve, even when the rest of the counrty does.
