A Sunrise Beach man had minor injuries from a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in Morgan County.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Worthley, of Climax Springs, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a party, held by their children, from 2 to 6 p.m. June 10 at Zack Wheat American Legion Post 624 in Sunrise Beach.

No one was inujred in a boat fire at the 32 mile marker last night, but the 30-foot vessel was fully engulfed in flames when Mid-County and Sunrise Beach firefighters arrived on the scene at about 10:00 p.m. The Cigarette-style performance boat burned aklmost to the water line, split in two and sankl in 40 feet of water.
