Despite flourishing weeds and long-vacant grounds, Wildomar's parks and baseball fields will soon undergo transformations in preparation for what city officials hope are better days ahead for the facilities.

The Menifee City Council got all starry-eyed this week over a new traffic plan, but the priorities of that plan differ markedly from those some of the city's elected officials stressed in their campaigns before last year's election.

Local members of the Sun City senior community of Menifee will present an original comedy production, "Make Mine Metamucil," Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. The performance will take place in Webb Hall, 26850 Sun City Blvd.
