A man wanted in connection with a shooting in Fauquier was arrested early Wednesday in Stafford.

Stafford Sheriff's spokesman Bill Kennedy said Deputy Mark Steininger was on U.S. 17 about 12:18 a.m. near Commerce Parkway when he saw a silver Saturn SUV that matched the description a vehicle reported fleeing from Fauquier.
