Mayor of Sulphur Springs fires police chief after less than 4 months on the job
For the third time in less than a year the town of Sulphur Springs is without a police chief.

Ex-police chief 's trial reset
The jury trial for a former Sulphur Springs police chief has been rescheduled. Andrew Little's trial had been planned to begin Tuesday; however, the date was reset for October.

Sulphur Springs will have a full day of events on July 4 at the city park. Things will get started with a breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Shiloh Christian Retreat dining room.
