After further consideration, Ashland County Commissioners on Thursday decided to pass on a proposal to take ownership of two bridges in Sullivan Township.

Ashland County commissioners on Thursday initially declined to support a federal stimulus project that would rebuild two railroad bridges because of opposition to a requirement that the county assume ownership once the work was done.
