While the best price in the area is still $3.47 in Sturgis, gas stations in Kalamazoo and Portage have dropped their prices to some of the lowest in the past three months.

"Average retail gasoline prices in Kalamazoo have risen 6.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.88 per gallon on Monday.
