Last year, flooding was the danger, this year, it`s fire. Just this afternoon, there was a large grass fire near Strasburg in Emmons County.

Today`s storm was a great example of how quickly the weather can change. Severe weather in the Midwest drained a lot of the moisture that was forecast to hit central North Dakota, but in Emmons County, there was plenty of snow to go around.
