Stork arrives in ambulance

WESTBROOK, Minnesota -- westbrook - It rarely happens, in fact no one on the Westbrook Ambulance had ever, had to deliver a baby en route to the hospital. But that changed a couple weeks ago when EMTs Jan Johnson, Scott Caswell, and Curt Madson were summoned to Storden to pickup an expectant mother, to take her to the hospital in Windom.

Westbrook - Mayor Rocky Kolar reported he has been in contact with officials in Storden and Jeffers. He indicated both cities are interested in securing a Housing Rehabilitation grant.

Council interviews Street Superintendent Applicants

Since Street Superintendent Dan Joel took a position at the Municipal Utilities the council has advertised for a replacement. Ten people submitted applications for the job, and the list was narrowed down to three persons.
